By day I study why batteries fail. Off the clock, I'm usually reading, out on a run or a bike, or at a chessboard.
I'm a research scientist at UL Research Institutes, where I focus on the safety and performance of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery technologies. My work spans experimental design, cell and module testing, and characterization — and outside of the lab, I contribute to the Volta Foundation's annual Battery Report and review manuscripts for MDPI's Batteries and Energies journals.
